MA Wrap Up

All the hard work is paying off and the project is starting to get out there. Mind Charity shared on their tumblr and in their e-news to 3000 members, and next week to Wales. The Mental Health Foundation are also keen to use the images.

The MA exhibition was fantastic at Hoxton Gallery, Shoreditch, 4–8 September 2014. I was so nervous before, but from the moment the private view started until the end, I loved it. The Crowd Talks on the sunday were brilliant too.

Anxiety project

A couple of sad images from my project today:

And the business card, which I gave to the director of the Anxiety Arts Festival, networking is not really my forte. I guess it's a process of learning. Just fewer of the recorded and filmed round table discussions please, oh please.

Park n Hands

The weather has been lovely and I sat in the park at Honor Oak last weekend. I can't believe the council were considering adding it to the existing cemetery land either side of it, no disrespect to the dead or anything, but come on to deny the living...tsk. There are basketball and tennis courts too.

Some statue hands at the V&A, tricky. But today I was in the flow it felt great. I invited some friends to draw and in the end 5 of us went. The ultimate for me friends, drawing, foodage and tea.

Violet

Testing backgrounds no.1

This little girl has been with me this weekend, she looks remarkably similar to a little goddaughter I know ; ). When she was angry she was red, when she was sad she was blue and when she was content she was Violet. Except I forgot my Violet crayon.

Milk!

So, between pondering uni stuff I started to wonder how we got from Milk Maid to Milk Man...

Spot the Flying Merguez

Yann and Yol put Flying Merguez into Paris Tonkar – what an honour and the best surprise ever! I cried, with laughter. I reckon some Flying Merguez stickers or transfers could be fun in London, hee hee

Flying Merguez

We went to Paris for a few days and met our lovely friends Yol and Yann. Merguez sausages at Mamane are the best, I can't remember why Yann said 'Flying Merguez' but it set me off!
